Fitness Skills

During the Spring, 1st & 2nd graders continued learning about and improving various fitness skills (cardiovascular exercises, stretching, muscular strength/endurance exercises, etc.). At the same time, 3rd & 4th grade students complete fitness testing to see if their fitness skills have improved from hard work over the course of the year. Most 3rd & 4th grade students improved in ALL areas of testing! 😊

The 2nd grade students featured in the photos below, did a fantastic job reading fitness graphs & climbing up the equation ladder with their math/fitness skills. 'Scooting Away with Numbers' is always a hit as well! Who knew there was math in PE in class?!
