KIDS HEART CHALLENGE

Throughout the months of January and February, Lower School students did an amazing job collecting donations for the American Heart Association to help those with heart defects and heart disease. During this time, we learned how to keep our hearts healthy with daily heart health lessons on nutrition and exercise. On Friday February 15, we had our Heart Challenge 'Fun Day' with awesome music, face painting, jump rope stations, basketball stations, heart-healthy snacks, and a jump rope competition. The event is designed to be a celebration of how many lives we saved with each $50 donation... nearly 550! The students worked hard to collect $26,819 in donations! I am so proud of their dedicated work toward this cause.

WCS was blessed to receive a special award from the American Heart Association... TOP SCHOOL in the state of Kansas! Way to go Spartans!!! Because of your hard work & dedication, we were able to collect over $26,000 in donations & save so many lives. Proba Te Dignum

Parachute Fun

Parachute is always a favorite PE activity! It gives us the opportunity to play fun games, while working cooperatively & building relationships. We stopped for a quick photo opp!

Lower School CHEER TEAM

Lower School Cheer is a group of 20 WCS 2nd/3rd/4th graders that cheer for our 3rd & 4th grade Spartans football team. We practice after school twice weekly to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and our games are every Saturday.
